Half the year has gone by and my reading has been a little erratic. I have read some great works and have gone on reading binges. But then there have been periods when I kept away from books. Here is a tally of the books I read this year so far for the Book Bingo (I have read a lot more books than that on the list – there are some books I do not include for the bingo)

I got the No.1 Ladies Detective Agency from a friend and I read the first book. I plan to finish the Shiva Trilogy and complete another box.

I also was going through the books I have read previously on my Goodreads account and realized that there a few series I would like to read – The Inspector Armand Gamache series by Loise Penny, Joe Sandilands series by Barbara Cleverly, Ibis Trilogy by Amitav Ghosh

• Harry Potter (Book 6). I am not going to read book 7. I had to literally force myself to read Book 6.

Other books I plan to read include Are you There God? It’s Me, Margaret, Catch-22, Da-Vinci Code, Eat Pray Love, The Lovely Bones, Memoirs of a Geisha, Nine Lives, Sea of Poppies and Wide Sargasso Sea.

So looks Q3 and Q4 will see me re-reading some books and catching up on new publications. The way it is going I am quite confident I will finish the book bingo challenge for 2013.
