This is all about me and all you want to know about me – Pooh – Vinitha. The name is a small part of my childhood I cling to desperately in an attempt to keep the kid in me alive.

Poohsden currently comes to you from Houston, Texas but has many many references to my childhood in Trichy, Madras – where my parents live these days and wherever my wanderlust takes me. My blog revolves around my life which these days revolves around my little girl – kuttyma also known as Baby I born in September 2009. My daily dose of humor comes from my attempts to save the laptop from kuttyma’s tiny hands and my daily dose of exercise comes from running behind her and picking up her toys.

My life was obviously very different before motherhood hit me. I lived life in the busy lane as I donned the hat of a environmental engineer. These days my environmental engineering motivates me to “green” our lives and be more conscious of the world around us. I do have plans to head back to the corporate world soon. (If you or someone you know is looking for an engineer in the Greater Houston area, I would appreciate an introduction).

Family ranks very high in my life and you will find a lot of references to them everywhere on my blog. With most of my family still in India (I moved to Houston in September of 2004 post marriage) I often relive my days in Trichy and savor the memories here. The people who figure predominantly are R- the other half – the engineer and the photographer, KA – the brother – the student and ofcourse kuttyma – the baby – my life.

I am the Jill of all trades – I dabble with a lot of things. You can call me fickle but I need variety and I need a challenge to keep myself going. This blog will have all things that catch my fantasy – shopping, crafts, dance, books, food, travel, blogs, garden, and a host of other topics. I am always open to trying new things, if you want me to experiment with something new, please tell me and I would love to try it. I also love reviewing and posting my views on anything that catches my eye. Call me opinionated but that is the way I am.
