Selective Blindness

There was a discussion on twitter about the most effective way to remove permanent marker marks from a toddler’s skin. If you have a toddler who has some inclination towards art and markers you probably have faced this challenge. My solution is quite simple “selective blindness”

It is amazing how people become selectively blind and deaf occasionally. It is so easy to point fingers at some one else or call it miscommunication.

I do understand different issues appeal to different people but then life is about choices. If you believe in what you do why do you have to defend yourself or others? Why do we hide behind politically correct and diplomatic statements?

I know I am bit all over the place but these are some questions and thought lines on my mind. I can save it as a draft and forget it (just like many others)

But I choose to publish it and not give a darn to what others might think.

I think if I feel for something it means I can defend myself but then it is a matter of choice. I do not expect anyone to accept my point of view and I do not need to accept anyone’s point of view. Do I have to? I know my mind and what I feel may not match with yours. So why do we play the diplomatic game?

That must have been some discussion for you to air these sentiments. Being PC- cos it’s human nature not to be proven wrong or be challenged. Or just a matter of selecting battles 😉
