The blurb I read had me intrigued. It seemed very real and interesting. I decided it would be something I would enjoy reading. The book starts in 2030 with business woman Naazani Singh Shekhawat being pursued by media . I was hooked. As I continued reading, the story began to lead down to the past – the early years of Naazani is one of neglect and then she discovers the internet. This was when the alarm bells started ringing in my mind. I pursued along and read about the transition of Naazani to Nazaqat – a prostitute with the help of an manager Sharat. I liked how Nazaqat’s character has been described here. She was a no-nonsense professional. She did what she wanted and she didn’t bother to explain to others. Why would such a strong woman depend on Sharat to take a stand about prostitution was a eyebrow raiser? The plot started collapsing around this place.
