It was the perfect morning to be outdoors. We had a blast.On a whim, we decided to stop for coffee and donuts at a coffee shop before heading home. As I sat down with my chai (the Aussie version of chai is like drinking a cinnamon bun btw) I picked up a magazine to browse. I was looking at the pictures with kuttyma peeping into it. Her eyes caught this recipe (rather the picture) mainly because it showcased the berries. She is a sucker for them. She asked me what food it was and I read “Oatmeal Berry Crumble” and she was in love. One of her favorite books, The Gruffalo has a line which goes “And his favorite food is Gruffalo Crumble” I dutifully took a picture of the recipe and promised her that we would try it someday.
