It was one of those parenting highs. Kuttyma wrote and illustrated her first book. It started over a long weekend and her teacher telling they can make their own books by stapling paper together. We sat down to decide what to tell. Insects was the chosen theme (with gentle prodding from my side). We decided the story. She dictated I wrote. I gave ideas and she drew.
