I document most of her talk on twitter (#kuttyma). But at times 140 characters is too short for my verbose 4 year old’s jabber. Her:Mommy, when you pick me up from school can you pick me up and say darling? Me: Ofcourse I can do it kanna. Who have you seen doing it? Her: All my friends mommy’s do it. She proceeded to coach me on how to do it. How simple is life at 4. You ask what you want and do not hide behind veiled suggestions and mind games. ************************* We were listening to a band sing a song called “You are the reason I shine”. Kuttyma danced away while I sat there with my book. She came to my arms for an impromptu hug. Me: I love you so much baby. You are reason I shine. Her: You shine? (sounding baffled) Me: Well this song is “You are the reason I shine” Her: I shine because of glitter. I love glitter so much Major ROFL moment.
