The past few months I have been trying to find real good winter apparel for my brother who is transplanting himself from hot Chennai to freezing Michigan. But have been running into a couple of issues (1) I have no idea how anyone can live in a place that is so cold. I am the one who complains Houston winters are harsh (2) it is summer now and none of the regular stores will carry winter wear this time of the year and (3) even during winter Houston stores do not carry heavy winter wear required for freezing weather. So I have started shopping online for apparel. It is fun and a pain. Lots of websites, many choices, lots of clearanced winter stuff available right now but without touching and feeling how does one buy winter wear?
