Since our trip to Heron Island we planned to work on a mini project for the board. We spent 4-5 days to get the project done and worked through a variety of media. It was a great way to document and refresh her memory. Envelope Lemon Shark There were so many different kids of sharks we spotted at Heron Island. The lemon shark was the one that stayed in kuttyma’s memory because of the association to the fruit. This was a quick and simple craft ideal for little hands. Handprint Crabs We spotted green colored crabs on the rocks and tried reproducing them. Sandpaper Sea Stars Did you know that sea stars do not have blood? It was quite an interesting fact I learned. Pipe cleaner snail This was little difficult for kuttyma to do. She could not bend the pipe cleaner to shape.
