Situated right across from the water, this restaurant is a gem. After a rather exhausting kayaking experience we made it to The Tree for lunch. The place was getting filled up fast and we were lucky to get a table without a long wait. The lunch menu was interesting and we ordered an Asian-inspired salad, lasagna, sweet potato fries and some pasta for the kiddo.   The food was fresh and flavorful. Given the crowd, the service was a bit slow. I loved the vibe, the views and food. This is laid-back Australia at its best. I could spend a few days in 1770 with a good book and people I love.
