It raised a lot of eyebrows. Most people thought we would have more fun if we headed to Malaysia or Thailand or some other exotic destination. As tempting as the idea was we decided to stay put. Just to give ourselves a sense of stability and we were genuinely interested in figuring out what Singapore offered. One of my biggest regrets was that I could not explore Houston completely before I moved. I started a bit too late on my Houston bucket list and I had no plans to repeat the mistake again. I started a Singapore bucket list the first month in the country. It is long and I keep adding things to it. I will probably repeat few of them (we have already been to the zoo thrice) Every city has something to offer &#8211; trips to exotic destinations are fun but it would be sad not to explore what your city offers. A good place to start is by picking up a travel guide for your city\/state. You will be surprised what is being offered.
