Advertisements – rather slick looking ones colorful and prominently displayed? I am one of those folks who picks them up. All the time – I love to read them. I find it a great source of information. Later they turn into art projects with kuttyma. One such brochure I picked up at the Asian Civilisations Museum (ACM) was about the bridges and the underpass art along Singapore River. Given my fascination with bridges, history and water in general it was no doubt I decided to explore. The pictures look better when you click on them Anderson Bridge Cavenagh Bridge Elgin Bridge Coleman Bridge: Read Bridge Ord Bridge Clemenceau Bridge Alkaff Bridge Pulau Saigon Bridge Robertson Bridge Jiak Kim Bridge Kim Seng Bridge My favorite is the Jiak Kim Bridge. It is a great walk exploring the bridges. I suggest you start at the Raffles MRT early in the morning and walk your way to have brunch at Robertson Quay before wrapping up. I would do it all over again.","thumbnail_url":"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/03\/IMG_4745-300x225.jpg"}
