Just happened to see these pictures in some website.<\/p>\n<p class=\"MsoNormal\" style=\"text-align:justify;font-family:times new roman;\">I am really not sure what the idea behind the national costume round is, but I guess it is about how the contestants showcase their respective countries and are able to carry themselves in their national attire. Ofcourse it is a big event for the designers as they want to showcase their skills. But what is the national costume of a country? Talking about  India, some people consider <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">saree<\/span> to be the national costume, others the <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">lehanga<\/span> and others might even say it is the <span style=\"font-style:italic;\">salwar kameez.<\/span> So what decides that an attire qualifies as a national costume?
