Phew! This has to be one of the fastest years in my life. After the slow crawl of 2009, this year flew past me. As always the annual recap<\/p>\n
January: The family of 3 – my mom left and it was scary taking care of the baby all alone. We survived and along the way I picked up confidence in myself<\/p>\n
February: Another month rolls on and things go by. It took all of February to find some balance in life as a mother<\/p>\n
March: My first post baby party at home – to celebrate 6 months of kuttyma.<\/p>\n
April: First overnight trip and falling in love with the Texas wildflowers all over again. Friends, food and fun<\/p>\n
May: Another blur<\/p>\n
June: The inlaws arrived. We spent quite sometime outdoors. My mom and brother came – kuttyma’s ears were pierced<\/p>\n
July: I celebrated my birthday with my mom and brother. Met up with friends and caught up with everyone<\/p>\n
August: Birthday planning frenzy<\/p>\n
September: Our first family vacation to Comfort, TX. Kuttyma’s first birthday party followed by more parties and food and fun.<\/p>\n
October: The mission to shed those pounds and self-torture as I pushed myself in the boot camp. A little butterfly emerged to celebrate Halloween.<\/p>\n
November: As we started bundling up for winter and getting wowed by our toddler there came the rather unexpected. A transition from a stay-at-home-mom to a work-at-an-office-mom, a transition for kuttyma to a school girl.<\/p>\n
December: The settling in period – hard really hard but we managed to float out boat and survive another year. The baby bro’s visit – the highlight<\/p>\n
