Pizza flags &#8211; A project for the older kids and it is so much fun. I started it out and R and baby bro KA jumped in and overall perfect holiday fun. I am sure 9-10 year olds would love it and hey it is geography class. I was\/still am a little stumped in what to use for blue that finds a place in many flags &#8211; suggestions? I thought of mashed potatoes with blue food coloring and the family vetoed the idea. What are your suggestions? Jelly Tree &#8211; One of my mini trees this year is an edible tree. This is one craft kuttyma could help me with. I used toothpicks cut into halves to place the jelly candy onto the styroform cone tree. Kuttyma actually was able to pierce a few jelly toothpicks into the cone. Jello Craft &#8211; Jello is so much fun and here are jello lime. They are quite easy to make &#8211; cut lemon into half, squeeze out limw and remove all pith with a knife or spoon. Prepare yellow jello, place limw in muffin pan, pour jello and let it set overnight. Cut into wedges with a very very sharp knife. Glow in the dark &#8211; This is something really cool. Have you seen bottles of &#8220;tonic water&#8221; in the beverages aisle next to all those coke and pepsi bottles in your store? I always thought it was kind of like plain soda. Turns out they have magical effects. Substitute them for water and viola they glow in the dark.
