October 8th 2011<\/em><\/p>\n

The rain washed out my great outdoor party to say goodbye to friends. We moved into our empty home with no furniture and set up shop. All our friends pitched in and helped us. The home we loved so much is officially in the market and I have no clue when I will meet the friends who care so much about us.<\/p>\n

As I drove back to my brother’s apartment tonight, I decided I will not go to our home anymore. I do not want to see it. I want to remember it the way it was tonight. Filled with friends and fun. As I gave a house tour to some friends who have never been to our place I fell in love all over again. The views of the Medical Center in twilight – I cannot believe how many days and nights I have sat there looking at the views. It was home.<\/p>\n

And I use the past tense. It is no longer mine. I do not want to see the place ever again. I want to store it in my memory – the high ceilings, the huge windows, the friends, the family times.<\/p>\n

I will remember it as it was today. A house becomes home when it is filled with love and I have been extremely blessed to have such amazing friends who made it home. And hopefully we will find a place in Singapore and make it home soon.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
