She loves dunking anything into something and eating it. She attempted pineapple hummus when she was around 1.5 years old but I was not very happy with the recipe. I made some changes and tried it again &#8211; it was a hit! Here is the recipe<\/p>\n<p>1\/2 cup channa (cooked garbanzo beans)<\/p>\n<p>1\/4 cup pineapple (cut into chunks &#8211; fresh works well but I used the canned kind with syrup)<\/p>\n<p>Around 1\/3 cup water (or pineapple juice or syrup if using the canned kind)<\/p>\n<p>pinch of salt<\/p>\n<p>pinch of sambar podi (this gives it a nice flavor and kick)<\/p>\n<p>pinch of turmeric powder (for the bright yellow color)<\/p>\n<p>Throw everything together in the blender and give it a spin.
