I have not been updating on the blog as Good Reads does the job really well.<\/p>\n<p>But here are few books I loved<\/p>\n<p>&#8211;  The Guernsey Literary and Potato Peel Pie Society by Ann Shaffer<\/p>\n<p>I hate war stories and for a good reason. This is a post-war story and if there was one thing I really did not like about the book for the love story &#8211; the one literally forced at the end. A wonderful book. Do pick it up if you are a book lover.<\/p>\n<p>&#8211; The Buddha in the Attic by Julie Otsuka<\/p>\n<p>What a book! It is one of those rare books with no well-defined protogonist. The Japanese brides-to-be seeking a better life make a trip to the land where dreams come true &#8211; to the US. They tell the story, their lives, the war and more. Beautiful, touching and a gem<\/p>\n<p>Nine Lives &#8211; William Dalrymple<\/p>\n<p>Not ficition but a selection of short essays on religion in modern India.
