For this month’s Virtual Book Club for Kids we picked up Alpha’s Bet by Amy Krouse Rosenthal. Kuttyma can identify all alphabets and is a pre-reader and this book was a great pick. We did couple of of activites using the book as our guide.<\/p>\n

Activity 1:<\/p>\n

Chopstick letters – Using the book as our guide, we created alphabets. It helped her understand how the letters are actually written and soon she was a pro.<\/p>\n

Glitter Bling<\/p>\n

Spray paint, old magnetic letters and we blinged some letters. We also learned to spell kuttyma’s name again using glitter<\/p>\n
