To be honest, I was not very excited about the trip. For one it was freezing cold in April in London and then there was the part about leaving kuttyma alone. Here are some pictures from my trip.I spent most of my time at work so did not have time for exploring the city. I saw enough to fall in love (the bridges!!!) and ensure I will return soon.<\/p>\n<div id=\"attachment_5198\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5198\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5198\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5198\" alt=\"IMG_6696\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6696-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5198\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">London blew me away for its great mix of the &#8220;old&#8221; and the &#8220;new&#8221;. After living in Houston and Singapore &#8211; I have forgotten what &#8220;old&#8221; actually means<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5199\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5199\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5199\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5199\" alt=\"IMG_6698\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6698-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5199\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">The Gherkin aka Easter egg right across from work was something to talk about for sure.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5200\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5200\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5200\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5200\" alt=\"IMG_6705\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6705-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5200\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spotted this sculpture around the Gherkin and it does make you think &#8211; Gorilla and a fish? Really?<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5201\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5201\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5201\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5201\" alt=\"IMG_6730\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6730-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5201\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">This could be a scene out of a book &#8211; I loved how London seemed to be a collection of scenes from various books I have read over the years<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5202\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5202\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5202\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5202\" alt=\"IMG_6731\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6731-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5202\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spring was late this year but it was showing its colors. Patches of flowers popping up were a sight of awe<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5207\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5207\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5207\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5207\" alt=\"IMG_6658\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6658-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5207\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Buildings &#8211; each one beautifully designed.<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5208\" style=\"width: 235px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5208\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5208\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5208\" alt=\"IMG_6685\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6685-225x300.jpg\" width=\"225\" height=\"300\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5208\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Every corner had a church and everyone of them looked amazing. This one was right by the hotel I stayed in<\/p><\/div>\n<div id=\"attachment_5204\" style=\"width: 310px\" class=\"wp-caption aligncenter\"><a href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/?attachment_id=\" rel=\"attachment wp-att-5204\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" aria-describedby=\"caption-attachment-5204\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-5204\" alt=\"IMG_6736\" src=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/wp-content\/uploads\/2013\/04\/IMG_6736-300x225.jpg\" width=\"300\" height=\"225\" \/><\/a><p id=\"caption-attachment-5204\" class=\"wp-caption-text\">Spring has sprung! My last day in London was beautiful &#8211; sunshine and relatively warmer temperatures.
