Travel is about exploration, discovery, food, culture, adventure and the list goes on. Different people at different times define travel differently and their definitions decide where they go, what they see and how they go about it.<\/p>\n

When I plan a vacation with my parents it is always about relationships. It is about the bonds that bind us. It is about the new ties we form amongst ourselves. It is seeing us relax together, discover ourselves and go beyond the boundaries of the relationship definitions.<\/p>\n

I love watching my daughter become a friend to my mother, my brother become the\u00a0“big bad bully”\u00a0and my father change to a student in front of my daughter. I love knowing wherever we go and whatever we do we will be there. I keep these in mind when I think about vacations together.<\/p>\n

Last August, we spent 4 wonderful days in Bangkok building these bonds. By default, planning a vacation falls in my domain and I sifted through the numerous pages on the internet filtering and debating what we should do in Bangkok. Given the differences in age, agility and definition of a vacation it was a hard job.<\/p>\n

After days of research I got in touch with the people at Travel Hub<\/a> and that was the best decision I took. They helped me customize my trip plugging in\u00a0suggested based on years of doing just\u00a0this. Our 2 day itinerary to explore Bangkok and nearby places incorporated everything I wanted and more. They got all this done via email which is amazing as often I am too lazy to lift the phone and call overseas.<\/p>\n

We visited all the top spots on our list, tasted local street food, shopped and did all that in comfort with a guide. The guide was knowledgeable and gave us the space we needed to explore and do things on our own. He realized that we were in Thailand to eat and made sure he stopped at every single street stall selling something exotic. Kuttyma enjoyed the friendly games the guide (Woody) played with her that she was quite upset when telling her goodbyes.<\/p>\n
