1) E.B White’s obituary for Daisy<\/a>, his dog is touching and fun. (If you have not read Daisy’s letter<\/a> to E.B White’s wife celebrating her pregnancy, you should read it NOW) via Brain Pickings<\/a><\/p>\n

2) I admit I am not a big fan of facial hair, but these photographs<\/a> by Greg Anderson<\/a> are amazing. via Twisted Sifter<\/a><\/p>\n

3) As an iPhone user I am always looking for apps to make my days easier and this list<\/a> of 6 iPhone apps for bloggers by Miscellaneous Mum is just what I needed<\/p>\n

4) I have been trying get my dose of “must-read” books this year. I have actively made an effort to read famous works that I would not have picked up otherwise. To be honest, some of them are really not my cup of tea. I finish them as I believe they widen my horizon. I came across this regular column<\/a> on LitReactor<\/a> and fell in love – Your Favorite Book Sucks. The write-up on Life of Pi<\/a> – a book I absolutely hated nailed it.<\/p>\n

5) I admit – I have a collection of cookbooks and recipes torn from magazines that I rarely look at. I always think I should change my routine cooking and find some recipes from my collection but never do it. But now Srivalli from Cooking 4 all Seasons<\/a> (who I think is a mind reader in addition to being a great cook) decided to host a Cooking from Cookbook Challenge<\/a> and I have signed up (gasp!)<\/p>\n
