I made it to the beach thrice this time around. I love the place and <a title=\"Elliot\u2019s Beach \u2013 Chennai\" href=\"http:\/\/www.ourowncorner.com\/poohsden\/elliots-beach-chennai\/\">my usual rant<\/a> is how it is slowly turning into a rubbish dump. It has not changed. Infact it was worse on a weekday evening. Everything that should not be in the water was there &#8211; plastic bottles, milk bags, clothes, artificial flowers and junk. As I jumped and squealed in delight as the wonderfully cool waters tickled my toes, I could only hope people will think twice before they throw out their trash at a public place.<\/p>\n\n\t\t<style Corn on the cob, sundal, suku-malli coffee and fried fritters were in demand. Plastics balls and glow sticks were peddled. Astrologers and transgenders preyed on the naive.
