Between lessons on water cycle, adjectives and social responsibility the uniqueness of life dawned. Death became real. One life and that one shot to get it right. Quite a scary thought for a child but it happens. Inevitably, life changes after that. It continues to change aided by my observations, peers, mentors, hormones and media.<\/p>\n
My world tilted quite a bit after I realised how short and unique life was. I teetered on the edge trying to figure myself out all through my teens. Little did I know that I will never do it. I evolve with time and every day I live I celebrate the one chance I have.<\/p>\n
Dawn to celebrate<\/p>\n
Chance to make every hour count<\/p>\n
Another day is here<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Uncertainty dictates<\/p>\n
What am I to accomplish?<\/p>\n
Where do I seek it?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
World so big, unfair too<\/p>\n
Will it eat me? Gobble me?<\/p>\n
A limb at a time?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
The caressing wind<\/p>\n
Life so fragile, so special<\/p>\n
A second too late<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Options too many<\/p>\n
Who do I want to be?<\/p>\n
Dreams will they come true?<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Flutters, pleasures of love<\/p>\n
Will I ever be the same?<\/p>\n
Crushing pain of heartbreak<\/p>\n
<\/p>\n
Evaporates like steam<\/p>\n
One life is all there is left<\/p>\n
So precious minutes<\/p>\n
