Uniforms <\/a>were boring. I always waited for Wednesdays to bring out the colours. (It was colour dress Fridays at BPGHSS<\/a>). It is surprising how something trivial as dress stays in my mind after all these years. I guess it was the fun part of planning for Wednesdays, dreaming about it, dressing up. Wednesdays post-Deepavali were grand affairs. The latest fashions (Trichy fashion standards were rather pathetic) were paraded. It has stayed in mind forever.<\/p>\n
