It is 3 years since I started blogging. I started at yahoo blogs moved to blogger and finally made it home on my own domain with wordpress.<\/p>\n

Someone asked me what I write about – well I write about me. I write my emotions, my perspectives and everything that is ME. As Joan Didion<\/a> said , I write entirely to find out what I’m thinking, what I’m looking at, what I see and what it means. What I want and what I fear. <\/em>Writing clears my mind and hence I write…I look back to the 400+ posts I have made during these 3 years and realize this blog has reflected ME.<\/p>\n

I blog in bouts<\/em> – I go through a phase when I blog nearly every day or atleast every other day (like in December 2009) and then through a dry phase where I rarely blog. It is so me. I take up something and get a bit obsessive with it and then cool off but with this blog I have been trying hard not to cool off and sustain my interest in blogging.<\/p>\n

I blog about the flavor of the day<\/em> – Just like I go through phases of blogging, I go through phases with different interests. Right now it is baking and few months back it was crocheting and before that was eco-friendly stuff. It is not that I give up my interests, they just move down on my priority list. Soon there will be more flavors<\/p>\n

I am still paranoid<\/em> – about what I post online. I try to avoid posting pictures of me or my family though most of my readers are either family members or friends I know well. There are a few people who drop in when they blog hop and have ended up being friends and I am thankful that my blog has brought in some great friends. If you frequent my blog and I do not know you, I would love to get to know you. Do leave a comment.<\/p>\n

I am lazy<\/em> – to comment on others blogs. I follow around 300 odd blogs on my reader and I rarely leave comments. I have been trying hard to leave a comment if I see something I like and that flows over to my blog as well. I rarely reply to comments. These days I have been trying hard to reply to comments in my blog. So if I do not reply shoot me!<\/p>\n
