The fruit is not my favorite but I have been known to enjoy it occasionally. While I often buy a box straight off the super market shelves, my favorite strawberries are freshly picked. Every spring, farms around Houston throw open their strawberry fields for picking. It has been one of my favorite ways to spend a beautiful Texas Spring day. Kuttyma loves berries of any kind and strawberries continue to be her\u00a0absolute favorite fruit. We visited the Froberg’s Farm in Alvin, Texas this time. \u00a0We have been there before and love the way the strawberry fields are laid out. It is nothing fancy but perfect for a family-friendly outing. It looked like most of Houston had the same idea as us yesterday and the farm was busy. We had a wonderful time walking along the lanes, searching for the perfect berries. Before we knew our bucket was full.
