I came across this old post in my drafts. Thought I should document it.\u00a0<\/em><\/p>\n

The life of the resident 7 year old seems to be rather interesting. She sounds grownup one minute and just when I can’t handle her being grownup she snuggles into my lap and becomes my baby again. Her world has expanded and I tag along just for the ride.<\/p>\n

Kuttyma: Amma, are there classes to be a parent?<\/p>\n

Me: Hmm no..<\/p>\n

Kuttyma: That must be hard for you.<\/p>\n

(Now I wonder what she intends to convey)<\/p>\n

\n

She comes back jubilant after a field trip to the zoo.<\/p>\n

Me: How was the trip?<\/p>\n

Kuttyma: I had a wonderful and interesting conversation with X’s mom.<\/p>\n

Me: Hmm<\/p>\n

Kuttyma: That was the best part of the trip. She was the\u00a0chaperone for my group.<\/p>\n

Me: What did you talk about?
\nKuttyma: Well, this and that.<\/p>\n
