2016 in general was a up and down year and my reading followed the same trend. I struggled with a major reader’s block<\/a> and hated myself for not being able to read. It took me quite a while to get over it and then finally I started reading with a vengeance.<\/p>\n

AchievementUnlocked – Read 2016<\/h2>\n

Anna Karenina by Leo Tolstoy.<\/h4>\n

After years of dreaming about finishing this book, I wrapped it up in the wee hours of 2017. It has left me rather confused. I loved the initial parts of the book but there were places where I feel the book dragged on and on. The book could have been much shorter. But what a wonderful character portrayal. Anna, Lenin and Kitty are so complex that they are real.<\/p>\n
