As I had mentioned earlier, I am quite paranoid about writing and posting about Kuttyma online. I do not even post her pictures on facebook. But today is a big day and it deserves a post! 3 months has flown past and Baby I graduated from a newborn to an infant (according to the medical jargon). It has been an amazing, scary and exciting journey so far -the journey that began in January.

I look through the photos taken 3 months back and I look at her now. I am taken aback. The tiny itsy-bitsy girlie whom I clumsily held in my arms, is now a little big girl. My little girl smiles, laughs, talks and fills our household with love. I cannot even remember how life was before her. Today, I toss her in the air, play games with her a sense of purpose, a sense of happiness and an untold fear fill me. I guess these are normal reactions every parent goes through. I have heard about it from friends and other parents but when it happens it takes me by surprise.

Happy 3rd month birthday lil one! I am a proud mother as I watch you reach your milestones and capture every one’s attention with your smile and laughter but I wish sometimes time slows down so that I can savor those small moments when you rest your head so trustingly on my shoulder and close your eyes in peace. I know soon those moments with be few…
