12 months and counting
May be this completes life

What was it like before?
I have no clue
Selective amnesia – I call it

I admit frustration has been a player
Just like happiness
Tears were shed
Smiles shared
Uninterrupted sleep forgotten
Life changed and it will continue to

No longer an infant
A toddler – scary but true
Can freeze some moments for myself?
Just to be “ME” and not the “mother”
Why do I even ask it?
There is no ME without being a mother
