I made these cake bars for a party last weekend. Coconut, pecans and chocolate – a sinful combination

1 prepackaged German Chocolate cake mix

1 tub pecan coconut frosting

1 cup chocolate pudding (yogurt with chocolate syrup is a good substitute)

3 eggs

1/3 cup melted butter

1/2 cup water or milk

Topping (optional)

2 tablespoons coconut

1/4 cup chopped pecans

1 teaspoon brown sugar

1/4 cup semi sweet chocolate chips

Preheat oven to 350 F. Mix everything (other than the topping) well together and pour into greased 13×9 sheet pan. Mix the topping together and spread evenly over the cake. Bake for 33-35 minutes till a toothpick inserted comes clean. Cool and cut into bars.
