When kuttyma brought back a note from her daycare/school reminding us to send in Valentine’s day cards to swap with her friends I put on my thinking cap. I did want to make all the cards at home and I also wanted kuttyma to be involved in it a bit. Here is what we came up with

Little envelope of love sealed with a foam heart sticker

And this is how we made these cute envelopes

I printed off a message within a heart shape and gave kuttyma her red, pink and purple crayons

We stamped red and pink hearts with toilet paper roll tube creased to form a heart. I was quite surprised how easily kuttyma got the concept of stamping

Open the envelope to find a cut-out heart with a message and some artistic strokes

This is how they looked. I cut the hearts out and folded them to form tiny envelopes

And for you with love from Poohsden

Thanks Ani, Shruti and Uma. I got the stamping idea off one of the craft blogs. Sometimes the simplest and most commonly used products make such great crafts
