Has been bad in Texas. Extreme droughts and wildfires all around. The city was filled with smoke for a couple of days and there has been wildfires popping all over the state. Texas is typically hot but this year it was super hot. I missed the summer thunder storms of Houston – they were my favorite. As much as I hated driving during one, I enjoyed sitting and watching a thunderstorm. The sight is beautiful but this year we barely got a sprinkle. The grass is brown, trees are drying up, water conservation warnings all around, ban of BBQ and fireworks and more.

I have no clue why I am typing this. I just had an urge to document it. Just as a reminder of my summer of 2011 in Houston. The summer kuttyma turned 2 and the summer of change.
