At 3am,

Her: Sleeping is not easy mommy

and yes she has been up since 3am

One evening after school

Me: What did Ms.X teach you?

Her: She teach me Mandarin

Me: I know she teaches Mandarin but what did she teach you in Mandarin class?

Her: Something about languages mommy

And I had to be satisfied with that

Snack time and I put a plate of food in front of her and told her to eat. She had her own agenda – she wanted me to feed her while she reads her book. I tried to get out of feeding her so that I can wrap up my chores

Her: You are the Mommy right? I am the baby right? Mommy must feed baby

Me: Is it so?

Her: You don’t know?
