One of my pet projects is to expose Kuttyma to various famous personalities around the world. Lately she has been quite fascinated by Leonardo Da Vinci and Prince George.

As India celebrates Children’s Day on November 14 in memory of its first Prime Minister –  Jawaharlal Nehru, I thought it was a great time to introduce Nehru to her. There are two things I think about when I hear the name Nehru – the rose and the hat. So we made a origami Nehru hat based on this video.

And then we tore some strips of paper, added glitter and rolled them into faux-roses.
