I saw boards advertising this place as I dropped kuttyma at her school every morning and put the place on my to-visit list. Given the name, I just assumed that the Cafe was along the river and I could  enjoy the best of Boyne. Unfortunately it is not.

The Cafe is located on a golf course. The menu was extensive and made up for the lacking ambience. The place also had a kids corner with some toys and kept kuttyma busy and entertained.

We tried their bruschetta (excellent), mango macadamia salad (frozen mangoes not completely defrosted was a major disappointment in the otherwise lovely salad) and the curry-of-the-day Indian butter chicken with poppodams (how can I resist such a temptation?)

The food was not the greatest but the menu was exciting. I may head back to try more of the exciting menu soon.
